I’m Just a NOBODY trying to tell Everybody…

I know I am not the next up and coming author. That is not the point. The point is that this was insanely scary to put myself out there and I did it. Not just for myself, although it felt SO good to be honest. Not just for me but for those of you who are living a life that they are not even sure is real. They might be living this perfect life on the outside but maybe not so much behind closed doors. I am here to tell you that ain’t no body perfect. No matter how we look on your feed we are all just trying to survive here. We are all going to the same place when we are done.

We are racing to that finish line, but then what? What happens after we raced our entire lives living a life we are not even sure was ours but living maybe to please the people around us. Do you want to get to the finish line, which is called DEATH, do you want to get there in such a hurry that you don’t even know what life was really about?

I am giving ya’ll permission to be yourself in this book. To be authentic. To be loved for being you. For living life ON PURPOSE and not just go through the motions. I don’t solve your problems in this book, but what I hope it does do for you is to see that I am not afraid to live a REAL life and know that my ups and downs that I feel and go through are NORMAL….to know that we all don’t have our S#IT together all the time – but most of the time we try our hardest and do our best and that is all that we are meant to do.

When you start living for YOU and not the story you think your life is supposed to look like that is when you can feel complete, content and at peace.

Being fake makes me super uncomfortable. I have the worst poker face of all time and I couldn’t lie if my life depended on it. Seed Balls! Protein packed dense nutrition for the whole fam!

Seed Power Balls 

Ok, so protein balls are all the rage, I get it. My kids love them. I make them every single week. Sometimes though, I don’t want to use oats. Sometimes I like to have a night time snack that does not contain a bunch of carbohydrates. Let me confirm that I am do not live a no carbohydrate lifestyle by any means, but I am extremely picky about my carbohydrates and I am very aware of when I consume them. Carbohydrates are for energy. They are used to fill your body with energy for working muscles and provide fuel to your central nervous system. I, however am very selective and choose to get most of my carbs from starchy vegetables and on occasion from other sources like oats or quinoa. If I am going to have those types of carbohydrates, I am going to try to eat them earlier in the day. Sometimes, however, I just want a nighttime snack so these seed balls are just perfect. The kids eat them in the morning for breakfast sometimes as well.  

Before I state the recipe, I want to say this, I still eat pizza and bread and pasta BUT not all the time, not every day. A few days a week. You do not have to go cold turkey and without anything to get healthy. Just be picky and choosy and really enjoy those treats. Don’t give up foods you love- just enjoy them once in a while and when you do, please do NOT beat yourself up for it. Just enjoy it and move on from it. If you are going to eat a special dinner out or treat of some sort make it special, be selective and REALLY, REALLY enjoy it. 

Wow, that was a ramble! Now, on to the recipe… 

In a glass bowl add ¼ C honey, ½ C of peanut or almond butter and 2 TBS of hazelnut spread. You will want to melt this for a few seconds in the microwave so it is easy to stir. 

Add this to a mixture of 

½ C of Chai Seeds 

¼ C of Hemp Seeds 

¼ C of flaxseed 

1/4 C flaxseed meal 

¼ C craisens 

And yes… 1 C of oats… 

Yes, there are oats in this recipe BUT they are combined with a great source of fats and protein which is going to help your body break down the carbohydrates all the while keeping you fuller longer. 

Mix and roll these into about 20 balls. Let set in fridge or even your freezer. So tasty!

👉Your gut is like a garden…when you add fake food or stress or preservatives or anything else unnatural it is bound to grow a few weeds that can cause bloat and even pain….to get rid of those weeds you need to add good bacterias, probiotics and pre, phytonutrients and natural whole foods to help get rid of the bad yuck and keep it clean.


🙀2 years ago…2, I know because my babies were turning one and my oldest boys 3. I was hanging on to those last 15 lbs from the 50 had I had gained with the second pregnancy. I knew what worked and I followed the plan losing 85 pounds the first pregnancy and 35 for this one but I wanted those last 15 pounds off and I wanted them off FASTer than how it was going. 😾I tried EVERYTHING that January-March of 2017 to rid those pounds. I did not look bad but everything in my closet was tight at the waist hips. I felt slow and bloated. I would eat really good for a few days…then breakdown and binge for an entire day… then starve myself for a day to even it out..and cry with disappointment….

👉The problem was I was getting NO WHERE. I was still hanging on to that weight and I knew in my heart what to do…

🙌🙌”STICK WITH THE PLAN I KNOW”….Why was i straying off of this plan?? I just wanted that weight gone before summer rolled in that year…..the quick fix starvation did not work— so instead this is what i did…

❤️I went back to the plan I know and LOVE and I HELD MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE TO YOU ALL!! That was the winner- the game changer…❤️

If you followed me back in those days you remember I posted ✅EVERY SINGLE THING I ate for 21 days…yes EVERY morsel of food I showed you on my page….

It worked…Holding myself accountable and eating THIS VERY PLAN worked and it even got some of you on the 👏bandwagon with me!


💃By that summer I was down not 15 but almost 20 pounds and i felt and STILL feel amazing – years later…..👩‍👧‍👦👩‍👦‍👦

Peppermint Patties

Ok, so I usually save the best for my private challenge group clients but this one is so good I have to share! I have already made 2 batches this week!!

Melt 10 TBS of coconut oil with 1 TBS of sweetener of choice (be sure it dissolves well) plus 1 TSP of peppermint extract

Pour half of the mixture in a candy mold. I prefer silicone as it pops out easily then freeze for 10 min.

Add 2 TBS of cocoa powder to the remaining coconut mixture and pour on top of the frozen candies.

Let set for about 1 hour and enjoy!!

Ps I am peppermint patty obsessed- like to an unhealthy stage…. lol… this has been my saving grace!! No loaded fake ingredients and still the refreshing taste! #winnerwinnerchickendinner

🤔Can we please stop putting limitations on ourselves. Don’t make yourself small and don’t think that you cant feel or do or be something. Don’t think that everyone else can but you cant because your too busy or are too far away from a goal or maybe your just so confused on to where to start. ❌You have to stop setting yourself up for failure…the only way you will fail is if you quit. The only way to reach for the stars⭐️is to start!……No one is going to do it for you. No one is going to care as much about your goals as you do. No one is going to want success for yourself as much as you do.

🙍🏼‍♀️🙎‍♂️So many people tell me they are afraid to start because they are afraid to FAIL…yes that is the number one reason people don’t want to start a new adventure or career or lifestyle…becuase they are afraid of failure…..🤦‍♀️DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE FAILED…..so many I can not even count…but…. I never quit. I actually feel like failing is just redirecting now…. It is just a way of saying- “oh, you know what-this is not quite right, lets try it this way” I also know that when I fail I step back and really evaluate and in all honesty I come back even better…..

💋Please stop thinking that success and worthiness of the best is for others…IT IS for YOU! ❤️There is enough success, enough money and enough love for EVERYONE! EVERY ONE of us DESERVES THE BEST- start telling yourself that for once- not just that – start believing it! 💚

❌STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT OTHERS THINK because in all reality we are all so into our own lives that no one is thinking about YOU as much as you think they are.✅

Seriously that is all it takes – you can find success in your weight loss journey if

Pretentious or Jealous?🤔

I used to think that women who posted themselves in a bathing suit were pretentious beotches…I also use to be insanely insecure in my own skin and can I mention a bit #jelly of them and the courage that seemed to radiate out of them.

I am thankful for the gal on the left because she had just given birth to her 4th baby in less than 2 years. I am thankful for the gal on the right because she is rocking that mom suit #likeaboss.

I don’t have a six pack because when I do… I am hungry. I eat clean 80% of the time- maybe 90 but I love food and I love lounging on the weekends.

That gal on the right walks around with a confidence that no one can steal from her…a confidence she has created on her own. A confidence that, although she is not a size zero, her confidence lies within the fact that she knows 3 things..

She fuels her body the best she knows how

She respects her for the 37 years she has given

She is her own best friend.

When you know that you are doing your best, when you know that you’re giving yourself the very best that you can, that is when that confidence starts to live deep in your veins and aint no one eva gonna steal yo thunder momma.
